UFAI will officially begin our re-opening process June 1st, 2020 as per Gov. Scott’s 8.1 Close Contact Business Stage 2 Guidelines that were released yesterday. Please note some of the important changes that will be in place in addition to all new measures as outlined previously and in Gov. Scott’s 8.1 Stage 2 Guidlines:
*If you feel ill STAY HOME!
*Handwashing & good personal hygiene to include your GEAR needs to be performed regularly.
*Do not share equipment.
*Increased COVID-19 signage on all entrances.
*Increased signage for all handwashing & hand sanitizing location inside the gym.
*Classes will only be taking place Mon-Thurs & Sat as we begin this process.(No Fri or Sun classes).
*Classes on the floor will be limited to 25 people at any one time.
*Classes will be held outside whenever possible or with doors/windows open whenever possible.
***No walk-in/drop-in training can be allowed at this time – only current eft members can be allowed to attend***
*No out of state visitors, spectators or other guest are allowed inside the facility at this time.
*Class schedule will be updated to reflect the following changes: All classes will be limited to 1hr on a rotating schedule as to not overlap classes (See Attached). This can also be found at: https://ufai.net/news-and-schedule/
*ALL students who attend any class need to plan to stay after to help clean up your area after each class session, as a group. A 30 min block will be reserved for extra sanitization.
*Common areas such as locker rooms and lobby will also be restricted access to a 25 member limit.
*Health check sign-in logs with contact info & statement of “not being ill/not symptomatic”
for both coaches and members, it will be filled out prior to each class. The log will be made available to the vt state dept of health, (if requested).
*We are designating a health safety officer.
*Additional cleaning and extra sanitizing stations will be set up around the gym.
*Extra cleaning/sanitizing of the gym and equipment will be taking place daily.
*Foot sanitizing stations will also remain in place & available for all members.
*All other (mandatory) health and safety guidelines will be followed.
*Please keep in mind that members assume ALL liability of engaging in close contact activities.
